Tine Tysmans
Tine Tysmans, graduated MSc in Civil Engineering in 2006, is associate professor at the department of Mechanics of Materials and Constructions at Vrije Universiteit Brussel and co-founder of the company Konligo. Her research is on cement composites for resource-efficient lightweight structures such as shells, scissor structures and sandwich panels. Internationally, she is working in EU projects Reconstruct and Addoptml, was a visiting researcher at Princeton University and ENISE Saint-Etienne, and has joint PhD collaborations with University of Patras, Jimma University and CY Cergy Paris Université (Eutopia framework). She is an active member of RILEM, coordinating chapters in TCs 292-MCC and 290-IMC.
